Endemic Plant Species Monitoring
We carry out population-based monitoring to determine how narrow-range endemic plant species are affected by project activities.
The species’ range, number of individuals or density, phenological stages, habitat characteristics and pressures are recorded periodically. The results help evaluate the success of measures such as protecting avoidance areas, habitat management, seed and topsoil conservation or, where necessary, translocation.
