Visual Impact Assessment
We systematically assess the visual impacts of energy, mining, industrial and infrastructure projects on landscape character and on specific viewpoints.
The assessment draws on visibility analysis, identification of sensitive receptors, photographic and field data, zone of theoretical visibility (ZTV) modeling and, where needed, photomontages and 3D visualizations. By evaluating the project’s scale, form, contrast, night-time lighting and cumulative effects, we develop mitigation options such as layout optimization, screening, planting and design adjustments.
