Ornithological Surveys and Reporting
The presence of bird species in the project area, their migratory movements, flight corridors, breeding and feeding areas, and habitat use are determined through systematic field observation.
Depending on the nature and sensitivity of the project, the survey design may include point counts, transects, migration watches and targeted species monitoring. The findings are evaluated against national conservation legislation, IUCN status and relevant international good practice to develop mitigation and monitoring recommendations for potential impacts such as collision, habitat loss and disturbance.
